Two more things ...

I forgot to add to the list on the previous post that Abigail now knows how to give you five. You'll put out your hand and ask her to give you five and she will slap your hand with hers. And Abigail is now officially a table food eater. Mommy forgot to bring her baby food to daycare yesterday, so they went ahead and gave her table food. They said that she did really well with it, so I told them to just continue. (But she has baby food, just in case). Yesterday she ate: Breakfast - Tater Tots; Lunch - Meatballs, Noodles and Veggies; Snack - Cookies. Today for Breakfast she was eating - Blueberry Muffin and Mandarin Oranges. She is growing up way too fast ... (I still need to add new pictures and will hopefully do that this weekend.)

9 Months Old!!

Abigail is now 9 months old!! She had her 9 month check-up today and she is doing well. She weighs 18 pounds, 14 ounces (50th percentile). She is 28 inches tall (70th percentile). Her head circumference is 17 inches (25th or 30th percentile). The doctor was really impressed with all the things she is doing now. She doesn't go back to the doctor until she is 1 year old!!! Here are some things she is doing now: Abigail started Day Care last week and she loves it. We hated having to say goodbye to her babysitter, Holly, and we were worried that she wouldn't like it. But so far, she loves it! She didn't cry any last week when I dropped her off, but she has cried both days this week. I was assured that she didn't cry for long yesterday and today, she stopped crying before I was gone. She has even learned to do a few things at day care that I will list later. Pulling up on everything she can find, including the tub, toilet, your legs. Standing up on her own. She c

Standing on her own & Day Care

Abigail started standing by herself last Tuesday. I am attaching a picture of her standing up. I took it with my cell phone, so the picture is a little fuzzy. (Plus, I had to snap it quickly.) Also, Abigail started Day Care yesterday. She is attending BEKare off of Acton Road in Birmingham. Surprisingly, she has done great! I called a couple of times yesterday and once today and every time they said that she was doing really well. She has apparently found two other little girls who are near her age that she follows around and plays with all day. Her teacher, Leah, said that she even took a couple of steps with one of those push toys!! She took a 2 hour nap yesterday and was so tired at the end of the day that she was snoring on the way home. This morning, she was fine with me leaving her (again). So, hopefully it won't change. Our little girl is growing up so fast! Abigail will be 9 months old next Monday!! She goes for her 9 month check up on Tuesday. I will post

New Photos and More ...

Here are some random pictures of Abigail that I've taken lately. Some are from my cell phone, so the quality may not be as good. Also, Abigail will be starting day care on Monday morning. I hope to have good things to report on her 9 month birthday in 2 weeks. Enjoy!! ************************************************************** I was trying to take her picture and she was climbing up me. ************************************************************** Playing underneath the desk in the office. ************************************************************** Sitting in the shopping cart at Walmart for the first time! ************************************************************** Showing her two bottom teeth (finally!). ************************************************************** Climbing up the front door.
