Merry Christmas!

Santa Pictures!

Santa came to daycare on November 23 and Abigail was one of only two children in her class to actually go to Santa by herself and sit in his lap.  Although you can tell by her expression that she isn't too thrilled, it's better than last year's picture - where she was screaming and had her back arched trying to get away from him!!!

Miss Little Merry Christmas!!

On Monday, I entered Abigail in Trussville's Miss Little Merry Christmas photo contest.  Well, I got a call today from the Trussville Chamber of Commerce that Abigail won SECOND PLACE!!  She was in the 2-4 years age group.  Here is the photo I entered: She won a sash and was asked to ride in the Trussville Christmas Parade!  I don't think we will be doing the Parade though because we have to provide our own car for the Parade.  I am so excited and hope they will still let me get her sash even if we don't ride in the Parade.  Congratulations, Abigail!!

Montgomery Zoo

After attending the Alabama/Georgia State game on Thursday night (November 18), we headed to Montgomery to spend the next 2 nights.  Dustin had a conference on that Friday and Abigail and I went to the Montgomery Zoo.  We spent 3 hours walking around the Zoo and had a great time.  Here are some pictures from our Zoo trip! In the Hotel before we left.  She was so happy to be going to see the animals. She is listening to the birds. Her favorite place in the whole zoo -- the Playground!! Elephants! Her other favorite place -- watching the ducks!   Another favorite place of Abigail's -- the monkeys.  I had a hard time getting her to leave.  See the little baby monkey! The Jaguar kind of scared me.  It just kept sitting and staring at us - almost like a statue. More monkeys!

Alabama v. Georgia State Football Game

Abigail attended her first Alabama game and we had great seats.  We were in the South Endzone in the Field Suites section on the first row.  She did really well and actually sat and watched the game.  She learned when to clap after the plays and loved hearing the band play.  She did not like Big Al -- he came for a visit down the side of the field and was right in front of us and she cried!!  Here are some pictures from the game. The view from our seats.  First row in the South End Zone! Million Dollar Band
