18 month check-up
Abigail had her 18 month check-up yesterday. She is doing good and is on the right track with her weight, height, and everything else. She weighs 23 lbs, 15 ozs (25h percentile), she is 31 1/2 inches tall (50th percentile) and her head circumference is 18 1/4 inches (50th percentile). The only thing the doctor said was that she may be flat footed. He said if her arches do not develop by 4 years old, then they wouldn't develop at all. So, we're going to keep a watch on that.
Abigail has learned so many things that I can't even list them anymore, but here are a few things.
She is talking so much lately. She will say almost anything you ask her to say - most of the time you can actually understand her too. She knows animal sounds too - she will tell you what the Cow, Dog and Cat says and we are working on the Duck sound.
She LOVES to play outside. She goes outside almost every night to tell Mr. Moon goodnight.
She loves to watch Dora the Explorer - she can say Dora, Boots and Backpack and even tells Swiper "No, No!" She loves to listen to music and dance.
She has just started imitating everything you do. It's hilarious!
She has been off of the bottle for about a month now and we have gotten rid of the pacifier, except for naps and bedtime.
Well, I can think of much more to write, but I'll just leave it at that. I'm also going to post some pictures today.
