11 months old!!!

Okay - I am a little late posting her 11 month update and I apologize. :0) Here you go!!

  • Abigail walks everywhere. She hardly crawls anymore. She will run and stop and then turn around and look at you to see if you are chasing her. If you are, she laughs and takes off running again.
  • Abigail is finally waving when you ask her to. She will wave hello and goodbye.
  • Abigail has been learning and doing a lot at daycare. They do "art" almost every day. They have painted (w/ paintbrushes and fingers), glued feathers to ducks, used cotton balls dipped in white paint to make "clouds", and they do scribble art a lot (just scribbling on a piece of paper).
  • Abigail is now drinking all of her formula/water/etc. at day care in a sippy cup! She is getting ready to get rid of her bottle!!
  • Halloween is coming up and this will be Abigail's First! Since it's on a Saturday, we will be in Geraldine celebrating. Hope we will see you!!
  • Her First Birthday Pictures will be taken this Sunday!! Portrait Innovations lets you bring a cake for them to play in and balloons, so I can't wait. I can't decide if she will have an actual small cake or a cupcake (less messy w/ the same effect).
  • Abigail's first birthday party is going to be on November 22 (Dustin's birthday!) from 2:00 until 4:00. We haven't decided if it will be at our house or Me-me and Granddaddy's in Geraldine, but we will be sending out invitations soon!!
Well, I can't believe that Abigail Kait will be one year old in a month! It's hard to believe that it has already been a year. Next post ... 1 year old!!!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Abigail Kait!!!

Two years ago today, we were at Brookwood Hospital waiting to welcome a little girl into our world. Abigail Kait was born at 3:33 pm on November 17, 2008. We certainly weren't prepared for what came next -- the joy, the love, the sleepless nights. She is such an amazing, beautiful, loving little girl and we are so thankful to have her in our lives. I can't wait to see what the future holds for her and the plan that God has for her life. Happy 2nd Birthday, Abigail Kait!
