Abigail Kait Kittle

Abigail decided earlier this week that she was ready for her bath while Dustin and I were still eating dinner.  She kept telling me that she was ready for her bath and I asked her to wait until I was finished eating.  Finally, she came into the dining room and said "I'm ready for my bath!"  I looked over and saw that she was completely naked -- she had taken off her dress and diaper and was indeed ready for her bath.  After the initial shock, I ran after her to put a diaper back on her, but she thought I was playing and instead ran away from me laughing.  Also this week, while getting her ready for bed, I got her pajamas and threw them on the bed toward her while I went into the kitchen to get her sippy cup of milk ready.  Then, we heard a noise and Dustin went into the bedroom to check on her -- she had been trying to put her pajamas on by herself and somehow ended up on the floor.  We don't know if she fell off trying to put her ...

We recently went on a short trip to Atlanta and visited the Georgia Aquarium and The World of Coca-Cola.  Abigail enjoyed herself at both places, but she really loved the otters at the Aquarium.  We all enjoyed tasting the many flavors of Coca-Cola products in the Tasting Room.  I didn't get many pictures, but here are some of the better ones.  Enjoy! Last night when we got home from daycare, I heard Abigail singing "Old McDonald".  It was so cute and I didn't know she even knew it -- We had never sang it with her.  So, I asked Ms. Shayla at daycare today and apparently it is "Old McDonald" week in her room -- they are learning everything about farms this week.  Sounds like there is more "Old McDonald" in our future.  Here is a short video that I got of her last night singing. Abigail had her 2 year check-up on Monday.  Yes, I know that I am a little late getting her check-up, since her birthday was in November and it is February!  We just haven't had a chance to go. She weighed 30 pounds, which is the 80th percentile, and she is 2'11" tall, which is the 64th percentile.  The doctor said that everything looked great and that she was just where she should be. The doctor asked me how many words Abigail was currently speaking: 25-50; 50-100 ... ummmm, 50-100, but probably over 100.  The doctor said, Okay.  Well, she will soon start to speak in sentences and more complex phrases.  I said that she already does and has been for some time now.  He was shocked and said that she was very advanced in her language development.  Really?  I assumed that all children her age were on the same level as her -- all of the other kids in her daycare class are.  Then he told me to limit her TV time to an hour a da...

I just realized that I had not posted anything about Abigail's party.  She had a great time and it was a lot of fun.  She is so spoiled!! I didn't take many pictures - so I will have to scan a few I have prints of and add to this post.  But here are the ones I have.  Enjoy!
